A Wayne County man has been charged with grand larceny after he allegedly wrote three checks on a closed account to the Canandaigua Federal Credit Union.
40-year-old William Brownlee, of Clyde, is accused of writing the checks that totaled $7,660 between November 14th and December 30th of last year.
Brownlee was released on appearance tickets for Canandaigua Town Court.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
