Top officers of the New York State American Legion are visiting local American Legions and touring local museums and historic sites.
Department of New York Commander Keith Koster says they are working to prevent veteran’s suicide.
Koster, a U.S. Navy veteran, is a cancer survivor who climbed all 46 Adirondack peaks to commemorate The American Legion Centennial in 2019.
