A local woman was arrested by the Yates County Sheriff’s Office on Monday.
The warrant for Lauren Shaff was issued by the town of Middlesex for her alleged failure to comply with Pre-Trial release. Shaff was turned over to the Yates County Sheriff’s Office by Ontario County Sheriff’s Deputies.
Shaff was transported to Yates County Jail to await CAP Court.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
