An inmate at the Yates County Jail has been arrested for allegedly being in possession of a controlled substance.
Shane Jacobs was brought to the Yates County Jail after an Order to Produce was secured for the Steuben County Jail to bring him to the Town of Milo Court at a later date.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
