A person struck by a car in Livingston County on Monday has passed away.
67-year-old Tarry Priestly, of Dansville, was walking in the area of Main and Clara Barton Streets in Dansville just after 6 Monday morning when she was struck by a car. The Livingston County Sheriff’s Office reports the driver and other witnesses rendered first aid on Priestly until emergency personnel arrived.
Priestly later passed away at Strong Memorial Hospital as a result of the injuries she suffered.
The crash remains under investigation.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
