An inmate at the Yates County Jail has been charged with assault.
Mohammed Diallo was arrested for allegedly subjecting another inmate at the jail to unwanted physical contact which caused an injury.
Diallo was arraigned at CAP Court.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
