A Newark man is facing charges after allegedly fleeing a traffic stop and crashing his car in the town of Geneva.
Just before 2 Saturday morning, Ontario County Sheriff’s Deputies say they observed Allen Juitt disobey a traffic control device. After being pulled over, the 46-year-old fled from the traffic stop and crashed his car just off State Route 14 on Gambee Road in Geneva.
Juitt was taken into custody and charged with reckless driving. He will answer his charges in Geneva Town Court at a later date.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
