An Ontario County woman was arrested Saturday by the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office following the report of a larceny.
An investigation determined that Molly Melito, of Manchester, had allegedly stolen items from the Walmart store in Hopewell.
Melito was charged with petit larceny and was released on an appearance ticket for Hopewell Town Court.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
