The investigation into a domestic incident on State Route 245 in the town of Italy resulted in the arrest of a 25-year-old Naples woman.
Cierra Smith allegedly broke a door frame during the altercation at the home. It was also determined Smith was violating a stay-away Order of Protection while at the home.
Smith was charged with criminal contempt, criminal mischief, and aggravated family offense. Smith was transported to the Yates County Jail to await CAP Court arraignment..
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
