Schuyler Health Foundation Honors Wilson at November Splendor

SHARE NOW

The Schuyler Health Foundation honored community member Ken Wilson with a new award at its annual November Splendor Fundraiser held at the Watkins Glen Harbor Hotel.

Wilson, a previous Schuyler Health Foundation Director and former member of the Schuyler Health Foundation Board, as well as life-long Schuyler Hospital advocate, was presented with the Community Champion Award. A long-term donor to the Foundation, Wilson co-chaired a successful campaign in 2011 for Seneca View Skilled Nursing Facility. The Foundation said Wilson has played an integral role in Cayuga Health’s Transforming Care Campaign, leading the Schuyler Health Foundation in raising more than $1 Million for targeted improvements to the Seneca View Skilled Nursing Facility.

Since 2022, the Transforming Care Campaign has raised more than $5 Million. Funds raised have supported the build out of the Cayuga Cancer Center within the new Cayuga Park building in Ithaca, and opportunities for professional development and education through the system, including initiatives to attract and retain top-tier talent.

More than 200 attended the fundraising event.
