Two people were arrested Monday night by the Ithaca Police Department after a search warrant was executed at an apartment in the 600 block of Spencer Road.
The search warrant was executed without incident and 44-year-old Allen Forest and 24-year-old Jessica Anderson, both of Ithaca, were taken into custody.
Forest was charged with obstruction of governmental administration and was arrested on 13 bench warrants. Anderson was charged with criminal contempt, obstruction of governmental administration, and felony burglary.
Following their arraignments, Forest and Anderson were each sent to Tompkins County Jail in lieu of bail.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
