One person has succumbed to injuries received during a fire last week in Salina.
95-year-old Thomas Sugrue and 90-year-old Janet Sugrue were found unconscious in their Glendale Ave home by firefighters during a fire last Tuesday. The pair were quickly rushed to Upstate Hospital.
According to the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office, Thomas passed away on Monday while Janet remains in critical condition.
Officials said that the fire did not appear to be suspicious.
