A Schuyler County man has been arrested on a rape charge.
According to the Sheriff’s Department, Brandon Ball was arrested following a complaint on Havana Glen Road in the village of Montour Falls. In addition to rape, the 20-year-old Montour Falls resident was charged with sexual misconduct and forcible touching.
Following his arraignment, Ball was sent to Schuyler County Jail in lieu of bail.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
