The investigation into a September property damage crash in Wayne County resulted in the arrest of a Sodus man.
The accident on September 6th involving 25-year-old Kenneth Kommer happened on Alling Drive in Sodus. Upon further investigation, it is alleged Kommer was observed to be impaired at the time of the crash following field sobriety tests. He was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, failing to keep right, failing to maintain a lane, and crossing a double solid yellow line.
Kommer was released on appearance tickets for Sodus Town Court.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
