A convicted felon from Geneva faces a new felony charge.
The arrest of Angel Rojas on burglary stems from an alleged incident that happened on October 6th at a home on North Genesee Street. Officers determined that Rojas entered and remained unlawfully in the home of a person who had an active “Refrain From” Order of Protection against the defendant. Officers further determined that the 35-year-old Rojas did cause physical injuries to the protected party during this incident.
The Geneva Police Department has determined that this was an isolated incident and there is no threat to the community.
Rojas was processed at the Geneva Police Department and transported to the Ontario County Jail for arraignment.
Additional charges are pending.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
