A Geneva woman was arrested by the Seneca Falls Police Department on multiple charges, including misdemeanors and a felony. The arrest follows two bench warrants issued after Jaime Thompson allegedly failed to appear in court for the original charges.
The Seneca Falls Police Department was alerted to Thompson’s location by the Ontario County Jail. She was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Seneca Falls Police Department where she was charged additionally with bail jumping in the Third Degree and bail jumping in the second degree, a felony, for failing to respond to her warrants within 30 days.
Thompson was transferred to the Seneca County Correctional Facility and is awaiting arraignment at the Seneca County CAP Court.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
