A Livonia man was airlifted to Strong Memorial Hospital after being involved in a motorcycle accident in Ontario County.
Brandon Anderson, of Livonia, was operating a 2010 Yamaha motorcycle while allegedly drunk when he went off the road at County Road 32 and Morrow Hill Road in the town of Bristol. Anderson’s motorcycle then struck a road sign, resulting in the 44-year-old being ejected and landing in the ditch. Anderson suffered injuries to his ankle and lower leg with small abrasions near and around his mouth.
Anderson was charged with driving while intoxicated and will answer the charge in Bristol Town Court.
The Bristol Fire Department, Canandaigua Emergency Squad, Mercy Flight and the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office all responded to the crash scene
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
