Penn Yan Man Accused of Driving on a Suspended License

SHARE NOW

A Penn Yan man was ticketed by Penn Yan Police following a traffic stop in the Yates County village.

Matthew Kenney was observed by police driving on Garfield Street while allegedly having a New York State driver’s license that was suspended for failure to pay child support. A traffic stop was initiated and he was cited for aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle as well as unauthorized stickers on the rear window.

Kennedy was released on tickets to appear in Penn Yan Village Court at a later date.

The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
