As we approach the final weekend before the school year starts, some bad news for those who wanted to spend the weekend swimming in Watkins Glen.
The village tells us that the Clute Park Swim Beach is closed for the remainder of the season due to potential Harmful Algal Blooms.
Just a few days will be lost as the popular Clute Park swim area was scheduled to close for the season after Labor Day.
