A Southern Tier man has been indicted on a murder charge.
Marcus Jones-Snyder, of Elmira, is accused of shooting and killing a 21-year-old man on Grove Street in the city of Elmira.
A Chemung County Grand Jury also indicted a 27-year-old man on three charges of criminal possession of a weapon.
The Chemung County District Attorney’s Office states Jones-Snyder faces up to 25 years to life behind bars if convicted.
