A Canandaigua man faces felony burglary and robbery charges after police say he allegedly broke into a home in the city of Geneva and stole a phone.
26-year-old Laron Cheeks is accused of forcing his way into the Hallenbeck Avenue home at around one Monday morning. Cheeks was later taken into custody on Seneca Street and sent to Ontario County Jail for arraignment.
Police determined this incident was isolated and there was no threat to the community.
