A traffic stop in the town of Galen Friday night resulted in the arrest of a Wayne County man.
During the traffic stop, sheriff’s deputies discovered Gardner was allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol. Upon further investigation, Gardner was placed under arrest.
Gardner refused to submit to a breath test while in custody. He was charged with Driving While Intoxicated, failure to keep right, failure to maintain lane, failure to submit to a breath test, and driving with an open container.
Gardner was brought to the Wayne County Jail to await CAP Court arraignment.
