A Canandaigua man was ticketed after being involved in a two-car accident at the intersection of Emerson and Sand Hill roads in the town of Canandaigua on Wednesday.
James Tuohy was driving north when he hit from the side a westbound car driven by Gary Dobbler, of Shortsville. That impact caused Dobbler’s car to go into a cornfield.
Tuohy was ticketed for failure to yield the right of way at a stop sign.
Dobbler was taken to Thompson Hospital by Canandaigua Ambulance.
The Canandaigua Fire Department assisted the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office in the investigation.
