A traffic stop on Lake Street in the village of Penn Yan resulted in the arrest of a Corning woman.
A DMV check of Ashley McQuaid’s license revealed it had been suspended since October of 2022 for an insurance lapse and her license expired in March of 2023. Officers said the inspection sticker on the vehicle she was driving was also expired.
McQuaid was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and driving an uninspected motor vehicle.
