A Wayne County man who failed to show up for court was arrested Saturday on an active warrant.
54-year-old Wayne Demay, of Lyons, is accused of failing to appear in Wolcott Court earlier to answer an assault charge stemming from an incident that happened in February. A Bench Warrant was issued for Demay’s arrest and he was arrested on Saturday.
Following his arraignment, Demay was released to appear in Wolcott Town Court.
