Rochester Man Arrest For Cashing A Stolen Check

On Monday, June 24th, 2024, at approximately 8:00 pm., the Town of Seneca Falls Police Department arrested Keon U. Kirton, age 40, of Rochester, NY. In February of 2023, Kirton stole a check from the Ithaca Youth Soccer Club worth $4,000; Kirton cashed the check at a bank in Seneca Falls and received cash from the check. Following an investigation, an arrest warrant was issued for Kirton. Kirton was located by the NYSP and turned over to the Seneca Falls Police Department. Kirton is charged with one count of Grand Larceny in the third degree, a Class D Felony, and one count of Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument in the third degree, a Class A Misdemeanor. Kirton was processed and transported to the Seneca County Jail to await CAP court.
