Police have released the name of the victim of a fatal shooting at a bar in the city of Elmira earlier this week.
Elmira Police were called to Gush’s Thirsty Bear late Monday night for a reported shooting. When officers arrived on the scene, they found no victim. They later discovered 44-year-old Norman Cherry was taken to a nearby hospital where he later died. No arrests have been made at this time.
Elmira Police say their investigation is ongoing and no other information is being released at this time.
