An update from New York State Police on the dead body found last week at Letchworth State Park.
On May 16, Troopers and Officers responded to a possible deceased body located in the water at Letchworth. The Bureau of Criminal Investigation worked with the New York State Park Police to recover the unknown body. The Bureau of Criminal Investigation working with the Monroe County Medical Examiner’s Office made a positive identification on the 21-year-old male.
The incident is in the manner of an apparent suicide.
