An accident on Baldwin Road in the town of Benton at around midday on Saturday sent one person to the hospital.
24-year-old Diamond Pulver, of Waterloo, attempted to turn south on Briggs Road when she apparently lost control of her car and went into the ditch and collided with a utility pole. A passenger, Jewel Pulver, was taken to Soldiers and Sailors Hospital for minor injuries.
Penn Yan Ambylance and Penn Yan Fire responded to the scene and assisted the Yates County Sheriff’s Department
