An Ithaca man has been charged with attempted murder.
Devante Metz was arrested Monday night after police served an arrest warrant at an address in the 300 block of West Buffalo Street. The 26-year-old was taken into custody without incident. The charge stems from a shooting that occurred on the evening of December 9th in the 100 block of North Plain Street.
Police say additional arrests are forthcoming.
Following his arrest, Metz was brought to the Tompkins County Jail to await arraignment.
