A Bluff Point man was killed in a one-car accident Monday morning in Yates County.
Eric Earley was driving south on Skyline Drive when he apparently failed to stop at the T intersection with East Bluff Drive in the town of Jerusalem. Police say Earley’s Chevy Equinox then went airborne before it crashed to the ground and overturned. The 31-year-old Bluff Point man was located a short distance from his car and was taken to Soldiers and Sailors Hospital where he passed away.
The Yates County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by Branchport/Keuka Park Fire, Penn Yan Ambulance, Yates EMS, and the Yates County Office of Emergency Services.
