A Phelps man is facing assault charges in Ontario County following an investigation into a domestic incident.
Christopher Chilson was found to have allegedly punched another person in the face, causing substantial pain. The 28-year-old was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Ontario County Jail, where he was held for pre-arraignment detention.
Chilson will return to Phelps Town Court at a later date to answer the charges.
