A traffic stop on Route 34 in the town of Venice in Cayuga County resulted in the arrest of a Scipio woman.
Upon stopping the car, the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office identified Casanda Calhoun as the driver who was allegedly under the influence of alcohol. Calhoun was subsequently arrested for DWI and transported to the Public Safety Building for processing where she was charged with DWI, Aggravated DWI, and multiple traffic infractions.
Calhoun was released on appearance tickets to appear in Venice Town Court in May.
