A Penn Yan native has been promoted to sergeant with the Penn Yan Police Department.
Sergeant Grace is a Penn Yan native who graduated from Penn Yan Academy in 2013. He went on to attend Finger Lakes Community College and Morrisville State College where he studied Criminal Justice.
Grace was hired at the Penn Yan Police Department in 2018 after he completed his police basic training at the Finger Lakes Law Enforcement Academy in Canandaigua. Sergeant Grace is a leader within the department and won Officer of the Year in 2021 and 2022.
