The village of Odessa’s Water System Improvement project has started on Merchant Avenue and Speedway.
According to the village, the project will move to Main Street in the next few weeks before proceeding to other side streets in the Schuyler County village. The water project on Main Street will be done at the same time the state Department of Transportation will be doing its Sidewalk Replacement and Main Street Improvement projects.
With the increase in road and sidewalk crews, the village is also reminding motorists coming through the village to slow down.
