A Newark man was arrested Tuesday on a charge of petit larceny.
James Costello was observed by Walmart Asset Protection allegedly hiding items on him and then exiting the store through the grocery doors. After being confronted by store employees, police were called and arrested Costello.
Costello was released on an appearance ticket for Newark Village Court.
