A Himrod man was released from police custody thanks to New York State’s Bail Reform Law after he was arrested on an active warrant issued out of Yates County Superior Court.
Shayne Winters was indicted on charges of burglary and two counts of grand larceny, all felonies. The 35-year-old was initially taken into custody by the Irondequoit Police Department before being turned over to the Yates County Sheriff’s Office.
After his arraignment in Superior Court, Winters was released due to New York’s Bail Reform.
