A Wayne County man was arrested by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office after he failed to stop at a red light on Wednesday.
As deputies were conducting their traffic stop with Michael Kennedy, the 58-year-old Sodus man reportedly showed signs of impairment. According to the sheriff’s department, Kennedy then failed field sobriety tests. He was brought to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office for processing and submitted to a chemical test with a result of .21.
Kennedy was charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated driving while intoxicated, and failure to stop for a steady red light.
