    A cold front has pushed through the region and temperatures are quickly dropping below freezing and will continue to drop into the low 20s and teens overnight. It’s the last “Picture Show” for Geneva.

Zurich Cinemas has announced they are closing the Geneva Moiveplex in the Town and County Plaza at the end of the month. The screen will fade to black after March 31st.

For customers who are VIP Club members, the Movieplex will honor any rewards on your cards through the end of the month.

In a post online, the Movieplex said “It has been an honor for all of us, theatre staff and corporate office personnel alike, to entertain you at the Geneva Movieplex for the past 18 years”
