    In New York, Chemung, Schuyler, Seneca, Southern Cayuga, Steuben, Tompkins, and Yates Counties. In Pennsylvania, Bradford and Wyoming Counties.
    WHEN
    From 2 PM this afternoon to 2 PM EDT Saturday.
    IMPACTS
    Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
    ADDITIONAL DETAILS
    There will be several periods of stronger winds, with this afternoon seeing strong southerly winds, then a break this evening, before stronger west wind develop tonight into Saturday.
    PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS
    Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.

Fraud Complaint Leads to DWAI Arrest in Wayne County

The investigation into a felony fraud complaint resulted in the arrest of a 57-year-old Wayne County woman.

Joanna Collins was stopped by Wayne County Sheriff’s Deputies on Center Street in Macedon Thursday afternoon. Collins stepped out of the car during the traffic stop at which point deputies observed signs of impairment. A Standard Field Sobriety Test was given with Collins again displaying signs of impairment. She was charged with Driving While Ability Impaired after submitting to a chemical test with a result of .07.

Collins will appear in Macedon Town Court at a later date to answer the charges.

In regards to the separate fraud complaint, Collins was charged with grand larceny and misuse of food stamps. She is accused of not reporting income she was receiving when receiving SNAP benefits. As a result, Collins collected $2,265 in SNAP benefits she was not entitled to. She will answer those charges in Lyons Town Court at a later date.,
