A Wayne County man has been arrested for a motorcycle accident that happened last summer in Sodus.
Devan Marsteiner was riding north on Buerman Road during the early morning hours of August 12th when he went off the road while rounding a curve. The 28-year-old Arcadia man was ejected from his Kawasaki and suffered significant injuries that resulted in him being airlifted to Strong Memorial Hospital by Mercy Flight. An investigation determined Marsteiner had a blood alcohol content of .09% as well as cocaine and fentanyl in his system at the time of the incident.
Marsteiner was arrested by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Department this week on felony DWI charges for having a previous conviction within the last ten years. He was released on an appearance ticket for Sodus Town Court.
