A Wayne County man was sentenced to 25 years in prison Thursday for attempted murder.
Jamison Emanuel was convicted late last year for a drive-by shooting that happened in Newark in December of 2022. State Police recovered the illegal gun on the road after Emanuel threw it from the vehicle while fleeing police.
The 43-year-old was also convicted of criminal possession of a loaded firearm and grand larceny.
