A Wayne County woman is jailed after leading police on a chase in a stolen car through Wayne and Monroe counties.
Chyenne Gonyeau is accused of stealing a parked car that was left running in a parking lot Monday night and driving away. When deputies located the car, they attempted to pull Gonyeau over but she fled.
The 25-year-old Wolcott woman was eventually taken into custody and charged with grand larceny, criminal mischief, and unlawful fleeing. Gonyeau was transported to the Wayne County Jail where she awaits CAP arraignment by the presiding Judge.
Gonyeau is to appear in the Town of Ontario Court and the Town of Wolcott Court at a later date and time for further court proceedings.
