An accident involving a Geneva man in Yates County remains under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office.
30-year-old Jon Vandemortel was driving north on Route 14 near Boston Road in the town of Benton Thursday night when he crossed the center line, went off the road, and struck a tree.
Vandemortel suffered an injury to his upper arm and shoulder and was taken by Penn Yan Ambulance to Strong Memorial Hospital.
