    There will be several periods of stronger winds, with this afternoon seeing strong southerly winds, then a break this evening, before stronger west wind develop tonight into Saturday.

Discovery of Dead Body in Ithaca Under Investigation

A 37-year-old man was found dead underneath the bridge of Cecil A. Malone Drive near the intersection of Mary Street in Ithaca on Monday.

When police and first responders arrived on the scene just after 5 Monday afternoon, they found the male unconscious and not breathing. The body was taken to the Cayuga Medical Center where it will undergo an autopsy by the Tompkins County Medical Examiner. The name of the individual is being withheld pending notification of family members. Ithaca Police say their investigation is ongoing and no further information is being released at this time.
