SHARE NOW

The village of Newark has hired a new Deputy Clerk and Treasurer.

Trish Poole was in the role temporarily last Fall and was recently offered the position permanently. Poole has 30 years of experience with accounting in both the public and non-profit arenas. She resides in Shortsville with her husband, Rickey, and her cockapoo.

Mayor Jonathan Taylor said, “Trish’s smooth transition into the position of Deputy Clerk/Treasurer is largely due to her extensive accounting experience and ability to work well with both the office staff and the public. We are happy that she has joined the Village team.”

Lynette Morrison, Clerk/Treasurer commented, “The Office Staff is excited to welcome Trish as the Deputy Clerk/Treasurer. She brings a high level of positivity and is a perfect fit for the office. Trish and I worked together during her temporary position and she will be an asset to the Village office. I look forward to working with her as she moves into her new position.”
