If you live or own a business in the village of Watkins Glen you’ll want to bookmark this next story.
The village says it will need to shut down its entire water supply from 3 until approximately 7 a.m. on Tuesday to reconnect a main water line at its Village Water Project Site. The village said it chose these hours to mitigate the least amount of disruption for customers. It’s hoped the shutdown will last only two hours.
Residents will receive multiple CODE RED alerts and the village will send out fliers to businesses.
