Police arrested a Penn Yan woman after she allegedly violated a stay-away order of protection.
Carlie Vega allegedly responded to a home of the protected party in the village in violation of the order of protection and then left the area on foot. The 19-year-old was later located in the area by Penn Yan Police and was arrested on a charge of criminal contempt.
Vega was released on an appearance ticket for Penn Yan Village Court.
