Firefighters in the lower Hudson Valley were dispatched to a commercial fire alarm on Sunday that was from a pull station, meaning someone physically pulled an alarm to set it off. The alarm was at a building called the South Hill Stables, but while firefighters were glad to find there was no fire, they also had to investigate who pulled the alarm.

After checking the entire system, we found a pull station in the down (activated) position. The only one who was anywhere near the station was Jax the horse. Evidently, he was able to reach out from his stall and bite down on the alarm to set it off. He refused to answer any questions at the scene
