A larceny complaint made by a village of Penn Yan business resulted in the arrest of a Penn Yan woman.
Mae Rhoads is accused of concealing a bottle of wine inside her purse and leaving the business without paying. Police located Rhoads on Lake Street, where she was found to have the bottle of wine in her possession.
The 35-year-old Rhoads was charged with petit larceny and was released on an appearance ticket following her arraignment.
